Stags open Clipstone friendly programme

Northern Counties East League Clipstone have lined-up eight pre-season friendlies, starting with the visit of a Mansfield Town XI on Wednesday, 9th July (7.45pm).

They travel to Southwell City on Saturday, 12th July (3pm) followed by Tuesday, 15th July, Scarborough Athletic (home, 7.45pm), Saturday, 19th July, Heanor Town (home, 3pm), Wednesday, 23rd July, Ollerton Town (away, 7.45pm), Saturday, 26th July, Retford United (home, 3pm), Wednesday, 30th July, Hucknall Town (away, 7.45pm), and Saturday, 2nd August, Rainworth MW (home 3pm).

Meanwhile NCEL neighbours Teversal FC have appointed Alison Peck and John Webster as joint sponsor and commercial managers for the new season.

They have started work immediately to find new sponsors and advertisers and support in helping enhance club facilities for a range of teams from the Tevie Tots (U6s training sessions) right through to the senior team in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One, covering 14 teams both male and female football.
