South Normanton too good for Barrowby

The last time these two teams met, South Normanton lost to Barrowby 3-0 and it was only the second time in 16 games that Normanton had lost.

It was a totally different affair this time out as South Normanton cruised to an easy 8-1 win.

It took just 15 minutes to open the scoring after defensive errors allowed Shane Newman to open the scoring. The second goal came direct from the corner on 22 from Lee Sutton.

It took five minutes until Newton got his fourth at the back post from a Roberts cross to make it 19 goals from 26 starts this season.
