South Normanton cruise to win over Barrow

Two goals in each half saw South Normanton cruise past Barrow 4-0.

The game started well for Normanton and, on 11 minutes, Ryan Baker dinked the ball over the goalkeeper to find the back of the net.

Normanton had six more good chances by the half hour mark, with the best chance seeing Baker fire wide.

But, after all the good chances, Barrow could have equalised on 40 minutes when George Himan hit an unstoppable strike just over from 14 yards.

It was a costly miss when Shane Newton put South Normanton 2-0 up right before the break.

The second half was a scruffy affair before a superb run by Ant Fay ended with a penalty, which Luke Crosby scored to make it 3-0.

Kyle Johnson then smashed home in the final moments to give South Normanton an impressive 4-0 win.
