The visitors controlled the opening 20 minutes of the half, however, Shirebrook went close with Jack Hauge putting his header over the bar.

Hallam again pushed forward and Jake Currie put the visitors in front although the officials missed an obvious foul in the buildup to the goal leaving Shirebrook hard done by as the teams headed in at the break.

As the second half wore on Hallam showed why there were a team at the top end of the table as in the 61st minute James Reed doubled Hallam the advantage and in the 75th minute Currie got his 2nd of the game to put the game beyond Shirebrook.

Jed Phillips then added a fourth to cap off what had been a poor day for Shirebrook.
