Selston stay top of NSL Senior Division

It remains neck and neck at the top of the Precision NSL Senior Division between Selston and Wollaton after both teams won at the weekend.

Selston went behind to a Matthew Hayes goal at Burton Joyce before coming back to win 4-1 through two each for Sean Gregory and Jay Cooper.

Wollaton were 2-1 winners over Cotgrave to stay level on points with Selston, but with two games in hand.

In the Nottinghamshire FA Intermediate Cup a Danny Chaplin double for Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves saw off Ashland Rovers.

Underwood Villa beat Nottinghamshire 3-1 to stay second.

Netherfield Albion recorded back-to-back victories for the first time this season with a 1-0 win over Awsworth Villa Reserves.

Kimberley Miners Welfare AFC moved back to the top of Division Two with a 5-0 away win at Cotgrave Reserves. Danny Walsh scored four in the rout.

Tim Berridge also scored twice for Underwood Villa to give his side a 2-2 draw with Sandhurst Reserves. Kyle Clarkson and Alistair Jones were on target for Sandhurst.
