Nigel Clough was delighted with Stephen Quinn's 'quality strike' which earned Mansfield Town a point at Tranmere Rovers... but felt his side could have had more.
The experienced midfielder's impressive volley saw the Stags fight back to secure a point at Prenton Park.

Hide Ad"It takes a very good strike and a quality strike to get us that goal," Clough told iFollow Stags."He was as good as anyone on the pitch today, Stephen Quinn.
"He can't run around like he did a few years ago but his intelligence and desire stands out a mile.
"We're delighted it dropped to him."
Kaiyne Woolery had put Rovers ahead seconds before the break in an open contest.
"I thought we had a good opportunity to get all three (points) today so a bit disappointed," Clough reflected.

Hide Ad"Pleased with a point in terms that we've come to a team challenging for automatic (promotion) and you're 1-0 down. To come back and get a 1-1 is, in some ways, a good point.
"I thought in the first 10-15 minutes today you could tell there'd be opportunities. It was an open game and I'm not quite sure how it's finished 1-1. It could have been 3-3."
