On-form Swanwick PR stretch winning run to four games

Swanwick PR hit three goals in each half to beat Collingham 6-1 and extend their winning run to four.

Another fast start to the game saw Swanwick attack from the first whistle and their intensity was rewarded after three minutes with Chris Turner’s corner accurately finding the unmarked Shane Buckerfield to volley home from 18 yards out.

The game continued with Swanwick dominating and moving the ball well with some neat interplay, which saw them double their lead through Guy Taylor on 28 minutes.

Collingham began to offer something going forward and Adam Jablonski pulled off a good save to keep the visitors out.

Swanwick took a firm grip on the game just before the break when Ian Milsom hammered home from 25 yards after being given plenty of space.

The second half started in the same way as the first with Swans on the front foot.

After 47 minutes, a driving run from Dean Owen ended with Taylor getting his second of the game from 12 yards.

Swanwick continued to enjoy the majority of the play and on 50 minutes the lead was extended when Dean Owen volleyed home.

Collingham pulled a consolation goal back on the hour mark with the aid of a deflection.

But Swanwick continued to press and they made it six on 88 miutes when Guy Wilding curled a sweetly struck effort into the top corner to cap a fine win.
