Notts County sign Billy Daniels from Coventry City

Notts County have bolstered their attacking options by signing young striker Billy Daniels from Coventry City in an 18-month permanent deal.

Daniels came through the youth ranks at Coventry to sign his first professional contract in 2012 and has gone on to make 33 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring three league goals.

The 20-year-old, whose two-year contract at the Ricoh Arena was due to expire this summer, most recently featured for the Sky Blues in their Johnstone’s Paint Trophy victory over Wycombe Wanderers at the start of September.

Daniels who can also operate in midfielder, will now be looking to establish himself at Meadow Lane, having become the latest addition to manager Shaun Derry’s squad in the January transfer window, in an undisclosed deal.
