Notts County offer new deals to eight out of contract players

Notts County can confirm that eight out of contract players have been offered new deals, following a day of meetings with manager Chris Kiwomya on Wednesday.

Alan Sheehan, Jeff Hughes, Yoann Arquin, Joss Labadie, Haydn Hollis, Curtis Thompson, Tyrell Waite and Greg Tempest have all been offered new deals, having reached the end of their current contracts.

Four players will not be offered new deals, with Julian Kelly, Hamza Bencherif, Liam Mitchell and Jake Wholey all told they will need to find new clubs, whilst Alan Judge will also be leaving Meadow Lane this summer, as had previously been confirmed.

The futures of Gavin Mahon and Krystian Pearce are dependent on available budget and will be subject to further discussion in the coming weeks, as Kiwomya waits to hear from those offered deals and other transfer targets that he has identified to bring in.

With youth team players Kyle Dixon, Romello Nangle and Malachi Lavelle-Moore all offered professional contracts on Monday, Kiwomya has taken the first steps towards shaping his team for the 2013.14 season.

Notts County would like to thank all of the players who have played their part this season and wish those that are leaving for pastures new the very best in their future careers.

Magpie Player will be bringing subscribers an interview with Chris Kiwomya on his reaction to Wednesday’s contract talks.
