Nottinghamshire football team goes from strength to strength
With the announcement that grassroots sports are finally being given the green light to recommence, one football team is excited for the season ahead.
Meden Vale Colts Football Club formed just a year ago and had been expanding rapidly before the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite coronavirus ending their season prematurely, they have still managed to field six different teams this year.
With the government now announcing team sports can finally plan to return, the team is looking at a potential of nine youth sides and two adult sides being prepared for the coming season.

Adam Elce, Meden Vale Colts’ manager said: “We started back socially-distant training in small groups this week having spent four weeks working hard to make it safe.
"We have had very positive feedback from parents and we are all excited for the season to start now.”
