Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella, according to reports.

The Reds have made 10 signings so far this summer and could be on the verge of an 11th with speculation the Championship club are in talks with Sam Byram over a possible move from West Ham United.

And now the Liverpool Echo is reporting Forest have registered their interest in taking on Spanish youngster Chirivella, who is valued at around £5million by the Anfield outfit.

Swansea City are also said to be interested.

Chirivella, who was on loan at Willem II last season, has been highlighted as one of several players Liverpool are looking to move on to recoup an estimated £100m after a summer spending spree.

Chirivella would add a further option for Aitor Karanka in the centre of midfield with Ben Watson, Jack Colback, Adlene Guedioura, Liam Bridcutt, Ben Osborn and Ryan Yates already at the club.
