Nottingham Forest must put on a better showing for their fans when Bristol City visit on Saturday.

That is according to midfielder Chris Cohen, who wants a vast improvement on the last City Ground outing.

That came two weeks ago in a below-par 2-0 loss to Huddersfield.

Cohen says the team needs to shine against struggling City to pay back the club’s supporters - especially after another loss midweek at Burnley.

“We have to win games like these, don’t we?” said the 28-year-old.

“We should have beaten Huddersfield in our last home game, because we know we are a better side than them.

“But we did not turn up.

“We were not good enough and we owe it to the fans to get something this weekend.

“Their support in midweek, when they travelled all that way on a freezing night, was superb again.

“We want to pay them back with good performances and, more specifically, with victories.”
