Thoresby Park did not enjoy Park life very much at all last Saturday as visiting Kiveton Park left with a handsome 4-1 victory margin in the Windsor Foodservices Central Midlands League Black Dragon North Division.

DFS Welbeck, struggling to rebuild after losing management and so many players, were soundly beaten once again, this time 5-0 by Westella & Hanson, which means their goal difference after just 11 games is already -63.

Brodsworth Welfre are also down among the strugglers and they were given a finishing lesson at Dronfield Town where they hosts gave them six of the best without reply.

Clay Cross Town maintained their pursuit of leaders AFC Manfield in second place with a 3-1 away win at Yorkshire Main which keeps them nine points off top spot with a game in hand.

Phoenix Sports and Social shared four goals and the points with visitors Bentley Colliery.

In the Black Dragon South Division, leaders Newark Town did their title hopes a power of good by thrashing second-placed Bilborough Pelican 6-0.

Sutton Town AFC dropped vital points in their chase in third place as they were held 1-1 at Calverton MW.

Blidworth MW were pipped 1-0 at home by a single goal from Holbrook St Michael’s, Pinxton winning by the same scoreline at Clifton All Whites.

Linby Colliery blasted Blackwell MW 6-2, Belper United thumped Real United 5-1, SOuthwell City saw off Nottingham United 3-1 and South Normanton beat Hucknall Town 3-0.
