Kennedy stretchered off as Reds are hammered at Curzon

Alfreton Town had defender Terry Kennedy stretched off with a broken collar bone after just 11 minutes and lost another player to injury before going on to lose 5-0 in this afternoon’s Vanarama National League North defeat at Curzon Ashton.

Kennedy’s head collided with a post and that early blow was just the start of an afternoon to forget for the Reds and new boss Russ O’Neill.

Tom Allan also limped off during the game for Alfreton

as Matt Warburton (37 minutes) and Matt Warburton (45) put the home side in charge before Ryan Hall (56), Niall Cummins (69) and Matt Warburton (90) put them to the sword.
