Alfreton Town will start their pre-season training today (Thursday) without Ashley Worsfold.
The striker has chosen to follow Anton Brown and Leigh Franks in moving to Conference North club Harrogate Town.
The Reds have agreed compensation fees for both Worsfold and Franks under the Bosman ruling.
While manager Nicky Law declared himself more than happy with the way things were progressing with his new-look squad just last week.
It followed the arrival of former Cambridge United captain and England C international defender Michael Wylde on a one-year deal.
Wylde became Alfreton’s third summer signing.
Law has since followed up by signing a proven Conference Premier Division midfield player on a pre-contract.
The signing will be confirmed and announced once the player’s deal with his current club ends on June 30.
Law said: “I am delighted with the two latest new boys. They are both of a good young age and yet have good experience at the level we are at.
“We fought off good opposition for both players and they have come to play football. It wasn’t all about finance which is very pleasing and quite refreshing.
“It has been a long pre-season waiting to be able to make signings, but things are evolving well and coming together nicely now.”
Several of last season’s key players have already agreed new deals and with former Grimsby Town right back Bradley Wood and ex-Burton Albion utility man Kristian Ramsey-Dickson also moving to the Impact Arena in recent weeks.
While the Football Conference have confirmed the 2013/2014 fixtures will be issued at 11am on July 3.
Reds fans have only a few days left to take advantage of the club’s hugely discounted Early Bird Season Tickets.
Discounted season tickets are available up to and including June 30, and are priced at £289 for adults, £194 for concessions, £150 for a ten-match ticket, with concessions paying £100 for the ten-match option.
After the June 30 deadline, tickets increase to £310 for adults, £206 for concessions and £160 for a Ten-match ticket, £110 for ten-match concessions.
Fans paying £18 individually for each game would pay a total of £414 for 23 league games. If they purchase a season ticket at the discounted price of £289, that works out at just £12.56 per game.
After the early bird deadline, the price per individual game would work out at only £13.47 for an adult.
Season ticket holders will be receiving a renewal letter through the post this week and they will be able to use that form to order their ticket for the new campaign.
Season tickets, Ten-Match tickets and Junior Reds applications can be ordered and paid for by credit card by contacting Lisa Towerzey on 01159 392090 extension 107 between the hours of 9.30am and 2.30pm Monday to Friday.
