AFC Mansfield comprehensively beat visitors Bentley Colliery to record their highest ever victory on Saturday.
Hat-tricks from Dean Rick and Mark Carter, a brace from Joe Meehan and strikes from Carl Haslam and Ricky Chambers underlined AFC’s complete dominance of bottom-club Bentley.
Dean Rick opened the scoring for AFC on 10 minutes, clinically firing past Teale in the Bentley goal. Five minutes later it was 2-0. Mark Carter latching on to a Chambers through ball to confidently drive the ball past the advancing keeper.
It took another 20 minutes before AFC increased their lead in that time Teale was lucky to stay on the pitch after handling outside his area to deny Rick. The referee only brandishing a yellow card.
It was Carter who volleyed home the third from a Danny Naylor cross as AFC took control.
The fourth came on 43 minutes, a Carl Haslam free-kick was blocked by the Bentley wall but the ball eventually fell to Joe Meehan who rifled his shot past Teale into the bottom corner to send AFC in at half time 4-0 up.
Rick went close after the re-start, volleying Danny Tighe’s superb free-kick over the bar.
Haslam got some reward for his excellent work down the right flank, having his first effort parried by keeper Teale he pounced on the loose ball to finish from 8 yards to make it 5-0. Rick scored the sixth goal on 60 minutes, again at the second attempt after Teale had parried the first effort.

Carter and Rick both completed hat-tricks to make it 9-0 on 80 and 83 minutes. Both goals coming from some more excellent work by Haslam down the right flank.
