No professional sport in England before 1st June, Government announces
It forms part of the second phase of Governments plans to move the country out of full lockdown.
The Goverment report, which announces the move, said that reopening sporting arenas which would draw big crowds may only be possible at a significantly later date and depend on a significant reduction of inection rates.

Hide AdThere will be no cricket played in England and Wales until at least 1 July, following a decision by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
British horse racing had hoped to resume behind closed doors later this month, having been on hold since 17 March.
Individual sports such as golf and angling will resume on Wednesday.
