Professional sport will not be played in England, even behind closed doors, before 1st June, the Government announced on Monday.

It forms part of the second phase of Governments plans to move the country out of full lockdown.

The Goverment report, which announces the move, said that reopening sporting arenas which would draw big crowds may only be possible at a significantly later date and depend on a significant reduction of inection rates.
