Nigel Clough and Jordan Bowery miss out on Leaague Two awards

Jordan Bowery and Nigel Clough have missed out on January’s League Two player and manager of the month awards.

Wins over Port Vale, Salford, Oldham and Southend were not enough for Clough to beat Cambridge United’s Mark Bonner to the manager honour.

Bowery will have to wait to land the player of the month prize after Wes Hoolahan made it a double honour for Cambridge.

The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
