New date and kick-off time confirmed for Wigan Athletic vs Mansfield Town

There is a new date for your calendars as Mansfield Town’s postponed clash with Wigan Athletic has been rescheduled.

Stags will now make the trip to the Brick Community Stadium on Tuesday, 3 November to face Wigan Athletic, with kick-off scheduled for 7.45pm.

The original fixture on Saturday, 3 October was rearranged due to international call-ups.

Ticket information for the new date will be announced by the club in due course.

The Latics are currently bottom of League One with seven points on the board from their ten games played. They have won two of their five home fixtures so far, while the other three ended in defeat.

They were a tough opponent for Stags last season after holding them 1-1 at the One Call Stadium and then winning 2-1 in Wigan in April.

Mansfield Town have a busy schedule coming up after this weekend. Starting with their Halloween derby clash with Notts County, Stags will play five games across three different competitions in a two-week period.

After facing the Magpies and Wigan in League One, Mansfield will host Macclesfield in the FA Cup, followed by Chesterfield in the Jersey Mike’s Trophy, before getting back into league action with a trip to Stevenage.
