Mansfield Town's Nigel Clough and Jordan Bowery nominated for League Two manager and player of the month award

Stags boss Nigel Clough has been nominated for January’s League Two manager of the month award.

It follows a fine run for Stags during January, which saw wins come over Port Vale, Salford, Oldham and Southend.

Clough will be up against Mark Bonner (Cambridge United), Keith Hill (Tranmere Rovers) and Mark Trueman (Bradford City).

He is joined by striker Jordan Bowery on the nominations list, with Bowery going up against Wes Hoolahan (Cambridge United), Davis Keillor-Dunn (Oldham Athletic) and Devante Rodney (Port Vale) for the player of the month honour.

Bowery banged four goals in during the month, including a first career hat-trick against Port Vale.
