Mansfield Town manager Adam Murray admitted that the poor showing of some of his players in the 3-1 defeat at Cambridge United had made up his mind to show them the door this summer.
He was clearly disappointed by his side’s lacklustre display on a day when results elsewhere confirmed Stags’ League status for another year and labelled some of his players ‘selfish’.
He also promised Stags fans he would put together a side this summer that would show 100 per cent commitment and wear the shirt with pride, even in defeat.
