Boss Adam Murray believes new signing Adi Yussuf can have a big impact on his Mansfield Town side.
The 23-year-old was previously on the books of former Conference North outfit Oxford City, where he netted 26 goals during the 2014/15 campaign – helping his old employers to a sixth position finish.
A graduate of Leicester City’s academy set-up where he played regularly at youth and reserve level, the Tanzanian striker left the King Power Stadium four years ago to join Burton Albion.
He featured on 31 occasions in two seasons with Burton, before spending 2013/14 at Lincoln City. He also took in loan spells with Gainsborough Trinity (loan), Harrogate Town (loan) and Histon (loan).
Murray said: “We are delighted to have captured Adi. We have had our eye on him for a while. He is somebody who has some tremendous attributes and will add another dimension to our attack. He is hungry, eager to prove a point and I cannot wait to work with him.”
