The veteran defender is expected to be out for two months, but Murray said the club would soldier on without going into the market for a replacement right back.

“His hamstring ‘went’ on Friday (in training), so it’s a major loss for us,” said Murray.

“We’ve lost both of our full backs now but we will fight on.

“Mitch (Rose) will come in and take over that mantle. We’ve had Lee (Collins) play there previously also.

“We’re not a club that can go out and get a ‘like-for-like’.

“We have to work with what we’ve got, which I have no problem with. We will do what we can and work as hard as we can within that.”
