New loan signing James Alabi was shown a straight red after just 31 minutes of his debut with Lee Beevers following him for a second yellow card near the end, though the visitors also had a man dismissed.

Trailing 1-0 after 24 minutes, Stags were stunned to find themselves 2-0 down on 43 minutes after the referee adjudged Alan Marriott had caught team mate Jamie McGuire’s header behind his own goal line.
