VIDEO: Mansfield Town v Plymouth Argyle slideshow
Mansfield Town were made to pay for missed chances as they lost 1-0 to a late Plymouth Argyle strike at One Call Stadium on Saturday.
It was the first goal the Stags had conceded in 276 minutes of football.
But the more worrying statistic is that they have not scored in 338 minutes either and this result strengthened manager Paul Cox’s resolve to get in a new striker before Friday’s trip to Southend United.
Cox is hoping to secure a Premiership youngster on a month’s loan today.
