Mansfield Town endured a night of controversy at struggling Bury last night, but still came away with a hard-earned 0-0 draw.
Stags were the better of the two sides as they looked for an away win at a managerless and struggling Bury.
But a red card for John Dempster saw those hopes evaporate on 62 minutes, with fellow centre half Martin Riley also limping off injured.
The 10 men then had to produce a backs-to-the-wall finish to the night with the referee playing 10 extra minutes at the end and also sending Stags boss Paul Cox to the stand for dissent.
