Mansfield Town’s loanee Swansea City defender Dan Alfei missed out on tonight’s big game at Exeter City with a hamstring injury.
The Stags made two changes with Mitch Rose in for Alfei and Junior Daniel back in the side at the expense of striker Mani Dieseruvwe, who dropped to the bench.
Teenage centre half Corbin Shires was names among the substitutes.
Mansfield-born winger Lee Holmes was back in the City line-up as the Grecians looked to end Stags’ play-off hopes and boost their own.
Exeter are two points adrift of seventh-placed AFC Wimbledon going into tonight’s match, while Mansfield are six points adrift.
Both teams have played a game more than the Dons and have just four matches left this season.
