Steve Evans believes Blackpool will see off Exeter City in Sunday’s League Two play-off final at Wembley.
Blackpool saw off Luton Town and Exeter overcame Carlisle United over two titanic two-legged semi-finals to stake their respective claims.
But Mansfield Town boss Evans said: “I tipped Blackpool in a newspaper before the play-offs started and I am going to stick with them.
“I think they’ve got a stronger side. But Exeter do play with no fear and they’ve got a top coach in Paul Tisdale. They will embrace the Wembley pitch - it’s a big pitch.
“But I think Blackpool have the characters for a big day.
“You saw when they were playing down at Luton they were out the game and dead and buried. But they found a way to win and it will be the team that finds a way to win at Wembley.
“But I have total respect for both head coaches and both sets of players – so good luck to both as I know what winning at Wembley means.”
