Mansfield Town’s home clash with Nuneaton Town on Tuesday night remains in doubt with more snow forecast.
After two away wins in five days with yesterday’s 2-1 success at Southport, the Stags badly want to build on those with a home game against struggling Nuneaton.
But manager Paul Cox said: “We don’t know what the weather is going to be like yet.
“I gather there is going to be more snow, but, like today, all we can do is prepare as if the match is going to be played.
“It is in the lap of the gods but we want to play it if we can.
“I know we have about four or five inches of snow on the pitch already. But you never know with the weather forecasters. Sometimes they don’t know what they are talking about.
“They say there will be more snow tomorrow but it could end up about 10 degrees and summery!”
