Stags signings on show for Magpies visit

Stags fans will get their first chance to see at least three of the club’s four new signings when League One neighbours Notts County visit the Once Call Stadium for the opening pre-season friendly tomorrow (Saturday, 2pm).

Striker Alex Fisher, left back Amarl’i Bell and centre half Luke Jones are expected in a squad that will also include some trialists.

But striker Liam Hearn, battling back from a serious knee injury, may be given another couple of weeks’ work before being pitched back into full action.

Mansfield will hope not to have picked up any knocks from a behind-closed-doors friendly at Huddersfield Town yesterday.

The Magpies played their first friendly on Wednesday, beating Arnold Town 4-0, but losing striker Jimmy Spencer with an Achilles injury.

They are likely to field star summer signing, former Manchester United and Leeds United man Alan Smith.

Admission to the game is £10 adults, £5 concessions and free to aged six and under

Supporters can purchase tickets up until 3pm tomorrow from both of the club’s ticket offices at One Call Stadium.

Supporters are reminded that there are no cash turnstiles and all spectators must be in possession of a valid ticket before entering the ground.

Visiting supporters cannot purchase tickets on the day of the match and must be in possession of a Notts supporters can purchase tickets in advance of the match from their stadium’s box office or, alternatively, they can call Stags’ ticket office to book tickets by calling 01623 482482.

Allocated seating is also in operation.

Tickets are on sale for Mansfield’s opening match of the new Sky Bet League Two campaign away at Northampton Town on Saturday, 9th August (3pm).

Supporters are advised to purchase tickets in advance, however, subject to availability, tickets will also be available to buy on matchday at the Sixfields Stadium.

Stags have received an initial allocation of 900 tickets, but more are available upon request.

Tickets bought in advance are £20 adults £16 senior citizens, £8 U18s and free for U7s

Disabled tickets are priced at £14 adults, with carers admitted free-of-charge.

Supporters who purchase tickets on matchday at Sixfields Stadium will be charged £2 more per ticket on the above prices, with the exception of U7s and carer tickets.

Supporters can also pre-purchase tickets through Mansfield Town and collect them on matchday at the Sixfields Stadium, if required.

Tickets for our Capital One Cup First Round tie at Sheffield United on Wednesday, 13th August go on sale to all supporters next week.

The Blades have given Mansfield an initial allocation of 1,000 tickets, but more are available upon request. Tickets will be available to purchase at One Call Stadium from 10am on Monday priced adults £10, concessions £5, U17 £1.
