Mansfield Town striker Danny Rose and midfielder Paul Anderson are the major doubts for Thursday night’s pre-season friendly trip to National League North Bradford Park Avenue.
Rose has been working hard all summer to shake off a toe injury sustained late last season while Anderson has picked up a niggle in pre-season training.
“Danny is building up his fitness now,” said assistant manager Ben Futcher.
“I don’t think he’s feeling any pain in the toe injury that he’s had for a while. He’s working with the fitness staff and building up his base fitness
“We don’t want to put a time on it, but when he’s level he will join in and hopefully be with us in the next seven to 10 days.”
On Anderson, he added: “Paul just picked up a little tweak of his groin on Wednesday.
“So he’s just been with the physio for a couple of days. It’s nothing major and we’re hoping to have him back involved in the next four to five days.”
