Stags to face Birmingham in friendly
Mansfield Town’s preparations for next season are already underway as the club announce their first pre-season friendly.
Paul Cox’s side will face Championship outfit Birmingham City at home on Saturday, 19th July (3pm).
The Blues, who survived relegation to League One on the last game of the season, are expected to field a strong side when they head to One Call Stadium. Former favourite Matt Green, who signed for the St Andrews’ club a year ago, could return to Mansfield as part of the City squad. Admission prices will be announced in due course. The club is also expecting to announce friendlies at home to two Premier League clubs soon.
