MANSFIELD TOWN will kick off the new BSBP season by entertaining Bath City at Field Mill on Saturday, 13th August (3pm).
Fans who have kept their ticket from last season’s FA Trophy Final can be admitted into the match for just £2, by bringing their ticket to the Stags’ box office to be stamped in exchange for a match ticket prior to the game.
The Stags then travel to Gateshead three days later followed by a trip to newly promoted Braintree Town on 20th August.
Luton Town provide mouthwatering first midweek home opposition on Tuesday, 23rd August.
A short journey to local rivals Lincoln City awaits Paul Cox’s men on Tuesday, 18th October followed by a home match against Conference North champions Alfreton four days later.
Mansfield will host promotion rivals York City on Boxing Day and will then travel to Bootham Crescent on New Year’s Day for the reverse fixture.
The away trip to Alfreton is on Tuesday, 7th February.
The season’s run-in sees the Stags pit their wits against Wrexham at home, with the season finally drawing to a close away to Kidderminster on 28 April.
Manager Paul Cox said: “I went to watch Bath a number of times away last season and Adie (Britton) has a good side at his disposal.
“Everyone looks at the opening six fixtures of the season, but I look at the final six to see who we will be playing during the run-in.
“It doesn’t really matter when we play teams, we have to play them all twice and pick up as many points possible from those games
“Every fixture will be competitive, but we are confident that we can get results and achieve what we want to achieve this season,” he added.
