Manager Paul Cox was furious last night as his Mansfield Town side tamely capitulated to a 2-0 home defeat by Cheltenham Town to end their outside League Two play-off hopes.
The Stags were sunk by two second half Jamie Cureton goals and rarely looked like scoring themselves in a poor game.
The result ended the Robins’ relegation worries as both sides now prepare for another season at this level. However, after the game Cox said the poor displays of some of his side had made up his mind on their futures for next year with many of them out of contract this summer.
