But man in the middle Andy Haines red-carded Darryl Westlake for deliberate handball on 63 minutes and handed the Cobblers a penalty from which Darren Carter levelled the game.

It was the second game in five days that Stags had fallen foul of refereeing decisions after Darren Drysdale upset them with a string of big decision against them in the 1-0 home loss to York.
