Mansfield Town enjoyed a sparkling 8-1 away victory at non-League minnows St Albans City on Saturday in the FA Cup Round One.

Sam Clucas led the onslaught with four goals inside 16 magic second half minutes.

But the scoreline didn’t tell the whole story as Mansfield were trailing from the eighth minute and needed two goals in the last two minutes of the first half to turn the game on its head before going goal crazy after the break.

The win earned them a second round tie next month away to the winners of the Wolves v Oldham reply.
