Mansfield Town striker Rakish Bingham has today joined Hartlepool United on loan until the end of the season, subject to Football Association/Football League clearance.
The 21-year-old, who joined the Stags in the summer on a free transfer from Wigan Athletic, links up with the County Durham club, who are currently anchored to the bottom of the Football League.
The loan deal includes the option for the Stags to recall Rakish to One Call Stadium with prior notice.
Boss Adam Murray told www.mansfieldtown.net: “At the moment, Rakish doesn’t have an extensive amount of Football League experience, and this loan move will enable him to gain valuable match minutes.
“At this moment in time, we need someone in that position [of striker] who has ‘seen it and done it’ at this level.
“We are looking to add to our squad over the next few days,” the manager added.
