MANSFIELD TOWN boss Paul Cox has today made his fourth new signing of the summer, with the capture of big striker Nick Wright.
The 24-year-old netted 23 goals from 47 starts and 35 substitute appearances in the past two seasons for Kidderminster Harriers, his former club.
Wright, who stands at 6ft 3 in, started his career with Birmingham City’s academy before enjoying spells at Bristol City and Tamworth, amongst other clubs.
Manager Paul Cox, who beat off interest from other clubs to sign the Birmingham-born frontman, told www.mansfieldtown.net: “Nick is a young player who has the ability to play in the Football League.
“He has a good goal scoring ratio, which I feel we can improve on next season.
“He can play anywhere along the frontline and has pace in abundance,” added Cox.
Wright joins Chris Clements, Jamie Tolley and Luke Jones on the list of new signings under Cox this close season.
