Mansfield Town hailed their annual open day as a success after hundreds of supporters flocked to the club on Sunday to meet their heroes.
Fans headed to One Call Stadium to meet Adam Murray’s new-look squad, who posed for photographs, signed autographs and chatted with the Stags’ faithful.
Club historian Paul Taylor also gave supporters a guided tour of the ground, while young fans enjoyed an action-packed afternoon; testing the velocity of their shots with Football in the Community’s speed tunnel, as well as visiting stalls and enjoying rides at a funfare.
Chairman John Radford said: “I’d like to thank everyone who came to our annual Open Day.
“It is always a good opportunity for supporters to mingle with players and staff and it seemed that everyone had a great day.
“There is a real excitement around the Town ahead of the new season, with hopes refreshed and a good pre-season enjoyed. I am hoping that we can have a real effect on the division this season after the hard work which has been put in during the past few months.”
