New Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri learned a little more about his new charges as they were given a stern test by Mansfield Town in yesterday’s entertaining 1-1 friendly draw at One Call Stadium.
After his second game at the helm, the former Chelsea boss said: “It was much harder than Lincoln and that was good for us.
“Nobody has any injuries so that was another good thing.
“We want to improve and increase our stamina and, while I am not happy, it was okay.
“We need to improve and increase our stamina together and I am looking at our movement as a team.
“For the first hour we played the same 11 and then gave the rest the last 30 minutes.
“We had a very good blend out there of experience and young players.
“But football is a team sport so I don’t want to pick out any single player today.
“It is important I look at everyone at this club and then I can pick a first XI for the Premier League.”
