Mansfield Town extend Blair Adams loan

That should keep the Stags covered until the return of Mal Benning from injury.

The 24-year-old signed on a month’s loan from Notts County in October following Benning’s and has played six times since for the Stags.

Adams, who started his career at Sunderland, has helped Adam Murray’s men maintain their play-off position in Sky Bet League Two with his assured displays in the defence and the Magpies allowed him to become cup-tied in the two FA Cup clashes with Oldham Athletic.
