Mansfield Town confirm Leicester City friendly visit

Mansfield Town have today confirmed a home pre-season friendly against Premier League Leicester City for Saturday, 25th July (3pm).

The Foxes, who are managed by Nigel Pearson, recently retained their top flight status thanks to a string of good results – including victories over Swansea City, Newcastle United and Southampton.

The game will also see Australian youngster Callum Elder, who spent the second half of the 2014/15 season on loan with Stags, return to North Nottinghamshire.

Ticket details for the game will be announced in due course.

Earlier today the club announced that a Mansfield Town XI will travel to Grantham Town on Thursday, 23rd July (7.45pm) and away to Shirebrook Town on Thursday 30 July (7.45pm).
