Mansfield Town announce retained list for 2014/15 season

The boss has released his retained list as preparations begin for the 2014/15 campaign in Sky Bet League Two.

Colin Daniel, Anthony Howell, Alan Marriott, Liam Marsden, Lindon Meikle and Jack Thomas have all been offered new contracts.

But Lee Stevenson, Paul Black, Ian Deakin, Ross Dyer, Ben Hutchinson, James Jennings, Keiran Murtagh, George Pilkingon, Godfrey Poku and Jake Speight have all been released.

The club has activated clauses in the contracts of Chris Clements, Ritchie Sutton and Matt Rhead to keep them at the club for next season.

Meanwhile, Louis Briscoe, who is currently out of the country, will speak to management staff early next week upon his return.

Lewis Price and Darryl Westlake have returned to their parent clubs Crystal Palace and Sheffield United, respectively, following their loan spells with the Stags last season.
