The 25-year-old, who was the interim manager of Stags ladies’ team last term, has targeted promotion next season, following relegation from the Women’s Premier League Midlands Division One.

He said: “I am extremely pleased to be given the role and have a lot to offer.

“We can bounce straight back (to the Women’s Premier League). We have a lot of hard work to put in, on and off the pitch.

“One of our main objectives will be to keep our key players and also to bring in other quality new additions to build on what we have.

“Anything less than promotion next season will be considered a failure in my eyes.”
