Mansfield Town legend Kevin Bird is in the hot seat on Tuesday, 22nd April in the latest instalment to the Stags’ series entitled ‘An Evening With’.

During his glittering 11-year career with the club, Kevin made 463 appearances in all competitions placing him third on the all-time appearances list behind Rod Arnold and Sandy Pate.

‘Birdy’ was also part of a Stags’ team which created history in the 1977/78 campaign as the club competed in the second tier of the Football League for the only time in the club’s history.

The 61-year-old will face a range of questions about his hugely successful spell with Mansfield Town, as well as his life as a whole.

The event will take place in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar and starts at 7.30pm. Entry is free for all supporters and there will also be the chance to win club merchandise.

The club’s head of media & communications, Mark Stevenson, will again host the showcase.
