As Mansfield Town supporters await news of their next signing, some of their rivals in League Two have seen comings and goings over the past couple of days.

Determined to have a better season, Stevenage have been particularly busy with three signings.

They have brought in former England youth international winger Emmanuel Sonupe, 22, from Kidderminster Harriers for an undisclosed five-figure fee, who netted 15 goals in 47 games last season.

They have also landed experienced central midfielder Michael Timlin from League One Southend United.

Timlin, 33, had been with the Shrimpers for seven seasons, scoring 14 goals in 253 appearances.

Goalkeeper Paul Farman, 29, has also joined Stevenage from League Two rivals Lincoln after seven seasons at Sincil Bank.

The club’s player of the season in 2015, he made 228 appearances for the Imps.

After making some promising signings, local rivals Notts County midfielder have suffered a blow after Michael O’Connor rejected a new contract

The 30-year-old Northern Ireland international is out of contract and could be heading for Lincoln City.

The midfielder played 42 games for Notts over two seasons at Meadow Lane, but missed much of last season because of a bad knee injury.

Welsh international George Williams has joined Forest Green Rovers on a two-year deal.

The 22-year-old played 17 times for Fulham, although he spent much of the past two seasons on loan at MK Dons and St Johnstone, and has now been released.

Capped seven times by Wales, he made his international debut against the Netherlands in 2014 and was part of their Euro 2016 squad.

Lincoln City have signed defender Harry Toffolo, 22, after his release from Millwall.

The left-back has signed a two-year contract with the Imps.

The former England U20 international joined Championship club Millwall in January from Norwich City and has made 66 League starts so far in his career.

Off the field, relegated Oldham Athletic have given one of their former players his first managerial role with ex-striker Frankie Bunn taking over the hot seat on a one-year contract.

The 55-year-old takes over from Richie Wellens, who was sacked on 8th June.

Bunn scored 35 goals in 88 appearances during his three years at Boundary Park and has coached at several clubs.

Meanwhile, Grimsby have named former Woking boss Anthony Limbrick as their new assistant manager, replacing Paul Wilkinson.

Mariners boss Michael Jolley has also added coach Adam Forrest to his backroom team.
