Kendrick signs for the Stags thanks to supporters group 12th Stag

SUPPORTERS Fundraising group the 12th Stag have donated £3,400 towards the wages of defender Joe Kendrick, who put pen to paper on a one year deal with the Stags on Friday afternoon.

The former Darlington full back revealed he rejected an offer from another BSBP club to link up with Paul Cox at Field Mill, and paid tribute to the 12th Stag for this ‘nice gesture. “It shows what supporters are about and what they mean to a club,” said the 28-year-old.  “I thank them very much and hope to repay their faith. It’s a nice gesture.” Paul Nyland of the 12th Stag said: “Once again, the 12th Stag are delighted to help the club financially with the fans’ money which was raised throughout last season.  We wish Joe every success, and let’s hope he becomes a fans’ favourite, along with Paul Connor.”

Currently, manager Paul Cox has approximately £16,500 at his disposal to fund new signings from monies generated by the 12th Stag who previously generated funds for the signings of strikers Paul Connor and Luke Medley.  You can add to the kitty by donating any amount you wish to
