It’s Oldham away for Stags in FA Cup
Mansfield Town today finally know they will be heading to League One Oldham Athletic’s Boundary Park for the second round of the FA Cup on Saturday, 7th December.
The Latics pulled off a shock 2-1 first round replay win at League One leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers last night.
Just 4,226 – the lowest crowd at Molineux for over 20 years – turned out to see Danny Philliskirk put Oldham ahead on 20 minutes and Adam Rooney double that lead on 73 minutes.
Both sides hit the post before Leigh Griffiths pulled one back in stoppage time.
Stags have lost 4-1 and 6-1 in their last two visits to Boundary Park.
