Daniel started his career at home town club Eastwood Town before moving to Crewe Alexandra, where he made 14 appearances.
During his time at Crewe he also as went on loan to a number of clubs, including Halifax Town and Macclesfield Town, where he ended up signing full-time and becoming an integral part of their squad before joining the Stags in August 2012.
Daniel then helped Mansfield get back into the Football League in 2012/13 and in total he made 75 appearances, scoring eight times, including the winner in the final game of the season at Bristol Rovers last month.
