An Evening with Chris Beardsley will take place tonight at 7.30pm in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar at One Call Stadium.
The striker will join host Mark Stevenson to answer questions about his career and personal life, before supporters are given the opportunity to ask questions of their own.
The 32-year-old joined the Stags for the third time last summer, after beginning his professional career with the Stags at the age of 18, before returning for a two-year stint in 2005.
After struggling with a shin injury in the first half of the season, the former Stevenage man has featured more prominently since the turn of the year, scoring the only goal of the game in Mansfield’s victory over Crawley Town in January.
A League Two promotion-winner with Stevenage, Beardsley has played for 10 clubs in his 14-year career, meaning he is certain to have a number of tales to tell to the crowd in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar.
As well as answering questions, Beardsley will also go head-to-head with a fan in a general knowledge quiz, with the chance to win Stags’ merchandise.
Entry to ‘An Evening with Chris Beardsley’ is free for all and there will be plenty of free parking available behind the Ian Greaves Stand.
